Descripción general
El DUALZDirect proporciona dos interfaces independientes totalmente pasivas de alta calidad que le permiten conectar señales de instrumento, línea o altavoz a un mezclador u otras entradas equilibradas a través de transformadores de aislamiento de audio de alto rendimiento. Cada una de las entradas de 1/4 ″ de extremo único de alta impedancia se convierte por un transformador en una salida de señal aislada, equilibrada y de baja impedancia.
Los transformadores de audio del DUALZDirect tienen una respuesta de frecuencia extremadamente plana y amplia y pueden manejar altos niveles de señal. Esto le da al DUALZDirect un sonido muy limpio y neutro con una amplia variedad de fuentes de señal y durante largas corrientes de señal en entornos de alto ruido.
Los interruptores ATENUADOR de entrada permiten una amplia gama de niveles de señal y los conectores THRU de entrada permiten tocar tu cadena de señal. Los interruptores Ground LIFT te permiten separar totalmente la toma de corriente de señal de entrada y salida, cuando sea apropiado, para aislar dos sistemas, reduciendo así el ruido de zumbido y bucle de tierra.
Lo que además distingue a la DUALZDirect de otras cajas "DI" son sus características extendidas y versatilidad. Hemos añadido filtros de paso bajo conmutables que cortan todas las interferencias de frecuencia muy alta. Estos filtros Bessel en las salidas se colocan fuera del rango de audio y están destinados principalmente a reducir las interferencias de radiofrecuencia antes de que entre en el sistema principal.
Los filtros son muy eficaces en la reducción de cualquier artefacto de ruido digital del computadora cuando se utiliza DUALZDirect como interfaz entre una estación de trabajo de audio basada en computadora y sus monitores.
Los interruptores de inversión de fase, aunque normalmente no se incluyen con tu caja DI "funcionamiento del molino", se han añadido para permitirte cambiar la polaridad de la señal directamente en la fuente. Esta función es especialmente útil cuando se combina un llave directo con una alimentación de micrófono en la mezcla.
La carcasa compacta de aluminio anodizado negro y su diseño pasivo permiten que DUALZDirect proporcione años de servicio sin problemas en sonido en vivo, instalación permanente/fija, D.J., y prácticamente cualquier aplicación de PA. Buscaba una DI para poder conectar mi cello a una mixer y así sacarle provecho al preamp. Me encontré con que el filtro le quitó un sonido molesto que tenía, como ruido sucio del mismo cello al ser conectado por pickup. Sencillamente más de lo que esperaba.

Built very well. I like the rubber armor on what could be sharp edges. This box will not slip and slide on a stage.There is a very small amount of crosstalk between channels (order of -100dB?). You won't hear it but at the really high preamp gain levels needed for guitars with passive pickups, you might see it on your level meters. Absolutely not an issue for live sound (our use). For studio recording I would use single channel interfaces, possibly with dedicated preamps.There are a lot of buttons to select pad levels, ground lift, etc. We don't use any of them because we go from this box into a mixer with highly configurable preamp gain. So I can't comment on how well these bonus features work.

Quindi l'ho comprato per mandare l'uscita del mixer dentro al jack dell'ingresso microfonico di una fotocamera Canon tramite il cavetto di riduzione. Dalle prime prove sembra tutto perfetto. I tasti di attenuazione sono molto comodi per poter lasciare il mixer con la regolazione che tengo di solito senza doverlo abbassare troppo. Comunque anche senza attenuazione l'uscita del mixer è gestibilissima senza distorsioni o saturazioni di sorta.
