I brought these for my mum and she loves them. It’s her first real pencil set and they’re gorgeous to use, the texture is expensive feeling and they’re good to blend.

These are beautiful pencils. You don't need to press hard to get good color saturation. The darker colors and gold even color over grayscale. For the price, they are great value for money. I'd definately recommend them.

UPDATE 11/19/22126 SET WAHOOOOO AND TY ARRTXMUCH LOVEA fabulous budget friendly SUPER SOFT PENCIL with a nice color range..Hope you add some more shades..I’m disagreeing with some reviews, sorry folks. I’ve been a colorist over 25 years & I have a ridiculous pile of different pencils. Now everyone is different in what they like especially those who are experienced artists. But these are a FABULOUS PENCIL.The pigment is a tad richer than PRISMA and they are almost as creamy. I’ve compared so many brands and this is the first one that I know of that can even come close.I do not care what others say- I’m an avid PRISMA user have been since before they were called PRISMA premiers.Arrtx is a definite must have pencil if you like a soft core, easily blendable pencil with a color range almost identical to prismas. This line up is perfect & this is the best on color closeness.Don’t get me wrong here, PRISMA are in fact a specific type of softness & I wouldn’t dare compare to others normally. But these run a close second. If you are comparing the soft smoothness to other brands you’ll regret doing so.All pencils are a blend of wax and oil FYI, it just matters how much of each binder/component.Anyway enjoy these & take the bad reviews with a grain of salt.As a pencil addict ha ha :) I’ve been using pencils over 30 yrs & a colorist more than 25 & I like to try new ones or new products at times. So first off I’m a polychromos and PRISMA loving pencil user. Followed with Derwent.I have numerous high end sets and budget sets. With that in mind I will not tell you these are like either because any pencil user should know PRISMA are in a class of their own! PRISMA is a unique HIGHLY SOFT blend so really there’s nothing like them. With that said- I can’t put my finger on it but these remind me of another brand. The color names will be familiar to you. These arrived in a stand up box with individual slotted base for each pencil. Nice well made storage box.Let’s get to the pencil- round wide cores PLUS, highly pigmented- PLUSEach is numbered and named.Lay down is smooth & creamy not scratchy at all! not to much bloom or dust in most colors, some with heavier lay down and layering as expected but it’s minimal compared to some brands. Another plus.Layering ability is there if your light handed you’ll get several.Blending ability is there with proper technique and patience. You really don’t need to apply a lot of pressure which in turn less hand fatigue, this is always a bonus.Everyone always wants to know about the black pencil- it’s exactly like scholar PRISMA in color mid level black could be darker.Easily done by blending in darker grays. They sharpen to a long point beautifully and the large FIRM cores are less breakable.Don’t misunderstand me when I say firm core, they are soft core with a smooth lay down but the inner cores are substantial they hold up well. These pencils remind me of a mixture of the highly pigmented brands with firmness of polychromos and color palette of PRISMA s Scholar line with the smoothness and blendable ability of the PRISMA/BW/poly/Arteza line of pencils. These all in all are a great set for advanced artists or beginning artists. The price point is great, color array is acceptable. Wish there was a larger set available with more colors but 72 is a great start. All in all these pencils will leave you happy and have the potential to end up in your go to line upI’m surprised theses aren’t t more popular.I’d would purchase again.
