I used this harness to install an aftermarket double DIN radio-cd in my ’99 Explorer Sport, and I had never done anything like this before. The color coding was matching my new radio’s (with a few additional wires that were not needed for this radio type), making it foolproof, and the connection to the car’s existing wires took 30 sec with a reliably tight fit of the three connectors.Please note that this is for the Ford premium sound system, which needs three connectors (one main, a second just for the subwoofer and a third just for the power antenna and the hands-free microphone (I didn’t install one). All in all, it worked like a charm.
