These pants seem warm and well made, but they are HUGE. I'm 5'8" and 120 lbs, and I am absolutely swimming in the Small. The Velcro waist adjusts only fractionally. I really don't understand how these snow pants can be considered a small; they are more like a large or an extra-large. If anything, I was expecting the length to be an issue, but the length was just right. These pants are thick and well-insulated, and I am sure they are more than up to the task of keeping out the wet and the cold. However, even with both leggings and jeans on underneath, they are still enormous and leave a big gap at the waist. I had to send them back and ended up settling for a less warm, thinner version, but one that at least fit. I was really disappointed because I wanted to love them, and frankly I'm still perplexed at the sizing.

These are very nice pants, quality is good and they look like expensive ski pants.However, I'am sending them back as I thought they had a straight leg, as that is what thepicture looks like. They aren't. They are flared at the bottom and would easily fit over a ski boot.I have no idea how they would do in the cold but from the quality of material and how they are made,I would guess, very well!I ordered a M and they were quite big on me at 115 and 5'2".

The waist in the pants would fit most 2X women, BUT the legs are huge. The waist was a bit tight on me, but that is always variable in pants like these. I understand they are intended to fit over boots, but they are made for a very tall person, with very large calves. They fit was all wrong.

The fit on these pants is very strange.I'm 5'10", and the legs were far too long. I ordered my usual size, which matched the size chart, and could not even pull the pants up. I ordered a size larger, and still couldn't zip them. The quality seems good and the price is great, so I guess it's worth trying, but the sizing was off for me.
