Absolutely useless. “A” string is too short. Would it hurt that much to add another inch to these strings!. Try tieing a knot in the end of one of these strings at the tailpiece….when you only have less than 1/2 an inch to work with.Was looking so forward to tuning this to mandolin tuning. Now sadly in the trash

Sound perfect and let you play a ukulele with mandolin/violin tuning. I got multiple sets and absolutely love them on my banjolele

I know some people have made this work, but I tried a couple of different packs of these, on multiple soprano ukuleles, only to have the E string break. I am a mandolin player, and I wanted a travel backup option. I bought a soprano ukulele specifically for this purpose, with a set of these strings. Break. Also borrowed somebody’s else’s soprano ukulele after buying another set of these, for the same result.Please, do not advertise something that only has a possibility of working. The E string in this set is so unbelievably thin….

This product is terrible. Thirty dollars and the string didn’t even get to pitch once before it broke. Very unsatisfied.

I’m really happy with these strings. I was worried that the E string was going to break because of all the comments I had read. It hasn’t broken yet but I decided to replace it with the E string that originally came with my Fender soprano ukulele to just be safe. It still sounds great.
