Installed on a 2017 Ford Escape bracket is not the same dimensions as the original so the caliper sits closer to the rotor. With the wheel off this wasn’t an issue since the rotor wasn’t seated flush. When the wheel was installed and the rotor was flush on the hub it would get stuck on the caliper housing. Do not purchase doesn’t work

Caliper fit, but the mounting for the caliper did not fit the car. I used the old mounting bracket. This did work fine, but I did pay for the unused bracket.

The caliper itself was an exact fit for my car, but the mounting bracket was about 1/4 inch shorter from top to bottom as seen in the photo on the right.The bottom bolt holes were 1/4 inch shorter than my original bracket.I did not notice this when I installed the new caliper.After putting my wheel back on and thinking that I was ready for a test drive, I discovered that when I tried to back out of my driveway my car would not move.It acted like my emergency brake was on. Disgusted now. I went through all the steps to install the caliper and brake pads all over again.When I finished it was with the same results.Three days of doing the same job over and over again and researching the problem until late each night.On the fourth day I was about to give up when I Finally noticed that the mounting bracket, because it was shorter ( top to bottom ), when mounted on the wheel, actually clamped the wheel in place and would not let it turn!I put the old mounting bracket on, with the new caliper and the brake job was finally finished.Would still recommend product, but beware trusting that all parts will fit your car as they should.

2016 lincoln mkz ebs (electric brake systems).. This does not include the electric motor. This is a quality product
