It does the job I guess.But:1. Not great fitment with trek marlin, although in their photos and instructions they state it will fit. The brackets are made for round bars not the square ones.2. You would assume it will be secured properly. But does not feel like it. It only attaches to the frame on one spot. Refer to the instructions video. So the seat itself tends to move left to right.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $79.99 with no discount/coupon being offered. Pricing is fair and generally well on point with the expected market rate of something similar. I like that a good portion of the frame is made of reasonably secure and appropriate materials. Once installed, not the most clear, be sure it’s securely in place and I would even consider having some sort of redundancy clamp or fastener installed for extra assurance using ropes, thick zip-ties, etc..Make absolute sure your child is wearing a helmet at all times and never leave them on unattended as this seating unit makes the bike more top heavy and very easy to tip. Keep in mind, if your child is larger in size it may obstruct/interfere with your view and be hard to handle with them on.Love that these come with adjustable foot rests and holding bars helping your child to remain feeling secure and safe. It’s nice having them up front where you can keep an eye on them at all times.

I bought this bike seat to ride with my son and overall, it’s a decent choice with a few things to keep in mind. Once installed, it feels sturdy and secure, though I’d recommend adding extra fasteners, just in case, since you are... carrying a child.The handlebars and adjustable footrests are great features that help kids feel safe and secure. My baby loved holding the handlebars during our ride, and having them up front where I can see him is a big plus. The seat is also roomy, which means it’s great for toddlers or kids who need a little extra space to grow.However, the installation can be a bit of a challenge. The instructions are unclear, and some users had to rely on videos or intuition to get it set up. Once it’s on, though, it stays in place. The design does make the bike more top-heavy, so make sure your child wears a helmet and never leave them unattended in the seat—it’s easy to tip if you’re not careful.All in all, at $79.99, the price is fair. this bike seat works well for kids and offers a fun way to enjoy rides together. Despite the tricky setup, I’d recommend it for the price and the features it brings to the table.

I got this bike seat to use with my 3 year old sonvso he can ride my bike with me. The seat is sturdy and doesn't move when the child is placed inside. It was easy to put on my bike and looks great.

You differently have to follow the steps how to attach it to the bike. We lost the paper how to do it but found a video online and followed the instructions. The seat has straps and a handle bar and my baby loved holding on and it has the cutest foot rests too. We took our baby on ride once and she loved it. We do have to do some adjustments but overall really happy with this product.
