Reviewer's Note: This is the first remote clicker I have ever owned. I have nothing to compare it to.I opened the item and it was clear from the beginning that the item was not new. There was a place in the packaging for batteries and the batteries were missing. The literature was loose in the box, not in a bag. It was annoying because I needed it for a trip and didn't have time to return it/get a new one before I left.I ended up taking it with me and it seems to work just fine. I needed a still tripod for some photos and this allows you to take pictures without the wobble of pressing the button. I did notice that the clicke works every time when you're right next to the tripod. At a distance of 10+ feet, it seemed to have trouble connecting every now and then. I have a Canon Rebel T7.

The clicker worked when it wanted to, it occasionally wouldn’t turn on at all and it was not a battery problem as the batteries were brand new. Other times when connected to the camera it would take photos on its own. Would not recommend

The remote works great with my camera right out of the box. When I first opened, the product looked new and all the parts where in the box. There was a spot in the packaging for the AAA batteries for the receiver but it did not come with AAA batteries, no problem I got my own. It did have a button cell battery for the transmitter. The instructions were very clear and easy to read. I haven't had a chance to test how far the distance will go but it did work from 8-10 ft away. I'm happy with it.

Extremely disappointed... this was obviously used and opened before. The batteries were missing, the cords were a mess and there was no attempt to try to make it look like it wasn’t opened. I needed it for family photos so I won’t be sending it back, but if I didn’t absolutely need it, it would be going back immediately.We will see how it works, obviously if it doesn’t, I will be sending it back used... again.
