I have used these for sometime now for alligators. They work great but note, anything over 10-11 feet you might want a bigger hook as they have straightened these out.

Not very sharp but can be sharpener with a good hook sharpener

Nice shape and size to them, stainless steel a big thumbs up. Downside is finish, areas that were ground are rough and this ain't the sharpest hook in the box. It will do the job, esp after some finish work.
