Printer is fantastic, have had it for about a week now and have been round the clock printing on it for that time. Knock on wood, no failed prints which is great. Coming from prusa slicer, the slicer is not too tricky, although it feels midly clamped in terms of available setting even in the advanced settings. Def not as quiet as advertised, but it really isnt too bad especially on the quite setting. Just wish I could have afforded the color changer as well.

This is a great 3d printer though there a couple things I would change. Prints look great once you dial in the settings and I've not had any issues with bed adhesion or prints failing. It's fairly quiet and prints quickly, though the 600mm/s is just marketing as you're not likely to run at those speeds. My first complaint would be the spool holder and filament feed tube. They are both located at the back of the machine which is terrible, put that on the side! This positioning makes changing filament more difficult if you have your printer against a wall like most people will probably position this device. I shelled out an additional $289 for the Ace Pro because I use several different types of filament depending on what I'm printing. The Ace Pro is not available at the moment though, there is a shortage of them.My second complaint would be the nozzle / hotend. The nozzle is glued into the hotend so you cannot change the stock nozzle without either finding a way to remove the adhesive or replacing the hotend as well. Hotend / nozzle assemblies are available from Anycubic; however, currently (4/16/25) you can buy 0.4mm brass, no other first-party options are available. Want to print abrasive filament and/or with a smaller/bigger nozzle? You have to look for third-party options, but there is an issue with many third-party thermistors. You can swap thermistors fairly easily though.Minor complaint, but why are the door and top window tinted? It makes it harder to see a print. My final complaint would be just a minor complaint about the default profiles in Anycubic Slicer Next, the default profiles are set up a bit slower than needed. Also, if you're NOT printing overhangs, switch the wall order to Outer/Inner or Inner/Outer/Inner, prints will look much nicer with at least 3 walls and the second option.Again, complaints aside this is a great printer that so far, just works. The enclosure helps trap heat and noise which is better than my fabric/fiberglass frame enclosure that I have for my Elegoo Neptune 4. This should be able to print more challenging filaments thanks to the 320c hotend and 120c bed.As far as connectivity, you have to use 2.4Ghz wifi for the printer and set it to LAN Mode if you don't want to use the cloud connectivity; honestly, that should be the default. I have not been able to setup an account with Anycubic for the app so far, it refuses to send me an authentication code. Camera quality on desktop with high-speed internet is okay, you'll be able to check on a print from your computer just fine but it's pretty blocky and low framerate.Final word of advice, the Elegoo Centauri Carbon is available for pre-order at $299! It looks to be the printer to beat though it currently does not offer multi-color printing (expected to launch Q3 of 2025). I've been using the Neptune 4 for a few years now and honestly love that printer.

So far, so good. All though my installed HotEnd must have been flawed. I got one print out of it and the blob of death occurred on the second print of the same model. Unfortunately Anycubic has not figured out yet that an extra nozzle/hotend is something every printer should come with when it’s new. Because it seems now a days nozzles/hotends tend to have a 50/50 shot they will leak out the back. Something I expected them to learn a lesson from the release of that Kobra 3.almost didn’t buy the S1 because of there hotends on the kobra 3. Noticed it was a different design for the S1. So took the leap of faith on it. Otherwise it’s been printing for several weeks fine, on an after market nozzle that is. Cost vs reward is why I bought this printer. I already own a X1C with several AMS. I needed this one for single color parts. Maybe I will add the ACE at a later date. But yeah it’s a decent buy. It’s holding up fine. Even though it’s built far inferior to the Bambu labs printer. Feels cheaper, but performs at a high level for sure. I’m shocked at how well it works. Just that one nozzle issue, but don’t expect it to feel sturdy and have glass doors like the bambu labs printers, just cheaper made.

I tried to save some money buying a good quality printer but the nozzle got clogged, impossible to replace it (nozzle was broken) and bed adhesion issues some times, overall, it is a great printer .......Editing: I had a not good experience with the printer but It's worth give them a chance. The customer service is great and they were Pretty professional trying to solve my problem....in the end, that's matters....re editing my classification.
