This is a jacket that is waist length. It is perfect to pair with wide leg jeans. I like the thickness that is great for cooler days.

Unfortunately the care instructions that came with the jacket said that it should either be hand washed (and laid flat to dry) or dry cleaned. The web page said it was machine washable. I would never have ordered this had the online page said that it could not be machine washable!The color was also not as presented online. The color shown is a warmer brown, not quite wheat, but more like coffee with cream in it. This color is more like a liver brown, a reddish brown that I do not find attractive.It came shrink wrapped and very wrinkly. I only even looked at the washing instructions since I thought that washing it might be the best way to get rid of the wrinkles.This would have gotten a 1 star, but there were some nice things: it is soft, the snaps are easy to work (not too tight), the cut is pleasant, and it's lightweight.

The fit runs a bit small, the style is not like it is pictured. But, incredible quality, nice material, comfortable and lovely color. I selected the beige tone. It is a medium weight material. It is super soft and you can fit your phone in the pockets.
