Okay, first, I LOVE how my boots turned out!!!So, I knew I wanted a true burgundy color, and after reading reviews of that color, I still decided to try it. I first ordered the burgundy color, and after testing it on the inside of the boot, it was way more purple than burgundy, like the other reviewers said. But, that was okay because I knew I would need 2 bottles to do the boots anyway, so I ordered a bottle of the Red dye and mixed it with the Burgundy in a mason jar and PERFECTO!!! What I got was the perfect color of burgundy, and I even have a little left over for future touch ups.

I used this product to cover scratched shoes, although my shoes were noted as being burgundy in colour the dye was a lot darker than expected, but covered the scratches well.

I used this to repair my leather bag. The color was wearing off in several places, and I used the dye to recolor these areas. The dye matches my bag very well, and the shoe polish applicator does a great job. I did find that when I applied the dye using the applicator, I created a slight striping effect, where the areas that still had the original dye became a bit darker. That is no fault of the dye at all -- just a lack of skill on my part. When I saw what I had done, I just repeated the effect all over the bag, so it looks like it was designed with that effect. I highly recommend the dye; just be careful to apply it only where the original dye is missing.

THis is a great shoe dye, the color was rich and it was easy to use. I was so happy with how my shoes came out. One bottle does a pair of leather shoes twice, The color was perfect and I have already gotten two people saying they look really nice, one was a stranger the other a friend. My shoe was a old pair of Tod loafers good quality shoe and now I have a new pair of Tod shoes. Very happy, I watched the you tube video and please wear gloves when doing it and make sure you have paper down and have a good place to apply the dye. I used the garage table with newpapers and had a towel near by. But use the gloves please.
