My light grey suede trainers had been ruined in the mud, and the colour was terrible after I cleaned them. With this suede colour I made them look as good as new! I used a small paint brush for fiddly bits like around the shoelace holes and a bigger brush for the rest. Super easy to use. Highly recommended.

My pale blue suede trainers did not survive the washing machine and this dye revived them perfectly. The light grey has a bluish tinge which is ideal for the result I wanted. Easy to use and goes a long way. Highly recommended.

I bought a pair of New Balance 990 shoes in 2019 along with the Angelus light grey dye which is the same color as my shoes. I have only just finished the bottle. It does a nice job, but after reading the negative comments, I thought I would provide my feedback.I normally clean my shoes using a suede brush, which appears to be nothing more than a brass wire brush, which I buy from Harbor Freight or Amazon. This cleans the dust and dirt and raises the nap for better liquid penetration. I then use the wool applicator that comes with the dye to put a light amount of dye on the shoe. It appears that some people are soaking their shoes and it shows up on their socks. If one coat doesn’t do it, add another, brushing with the brass brush in between coats after the first coat has dried. Once all coats are dry, I use the brass brush once or twice. I then use a soft cloth and rub all the coated surfaces again. If you get the dye on any rubber parts, it will come off easily. There are certain parts of my shoe that I use a small paint brush so I don’t get it on a surface that will accept the dye. Suede is porous, so if you used too much, you may have to wipe the inside of your shoe out, again, depending upon how much liquid dye you used. This product has worked well for me to keep my 3 year old shoes looking good. I would not get light grey shoes again as they get dirty too easily.

This pale grey is not a dye, it's a surface coating. It goes on easily enough but once dry and you try to brush up the nap of the suede you will be enveloped in a fine white, possibly hazardous, dust. This will transfer to any clothing the suede comes into contact with. Fortunately I was able to wash the stuff of the shoes and start again with another brand. Avoid.

Use the Wool Daubers Ball Brush that comes with the color. Grab some color and then tap it on the suede surface. Repeat 2-3 times until it covers everywhere.
