My 2 year old received this lovey when he was about 3 months old. We didn't add it to his crib until he was about 1 (to decrease SIDS risk), but this lovey has been his comfort animal/blankie for ages now. He calls lovey his "fwend," and lovey actively participates in pretend play (lovey is offered pretend sips of make-believe "soup," for example), rides with us in the car, is present at daycare pick-up, and is of course there at nighttime for comfort. We have multiple loveys at this point, and highly recommend to others, especially if you are having sleep issues with your LO! Our son sleeps well, knowing that he has a "friend" with him at night and through tough transitions.

I bought this for a friend's baby shower, based on my daughter's experience with her "ducky" blanket. Of all the stuffed animals and other items she had, this was the one for her. From the start, until she went into first grade, she took her ducky with her everywhere. In fact I had to buy a number of spares because I was terrified she would love it. She loved the spares too! I think it was the combination of the soft blanket with the little head that she could examine and touch. The little tabs on the corner and along the "spine" were also a source of fascination. And they have lots of different options but all with the same basic features that babies seem to love. It washes well too.

We received our first "Lambie" as a gift. Our son loved the softness and chewing on the corners, so we bought a second for when the first is in the wash. It washes very well and remains soft. I am hoping this becomes his security blanket because it is so easy to replace! The friend who bought this for us showed us pictures of her children's lambs and they are threadbare after years of loving, but the kids hold on! A very pretty and useful gift.

This adorable Lamb I got as a shower gift and I ended up ordering one back up and one for Grandma's house. My son loves this blankie he sleeps with it every night. He plays with the tag on it a few minutes and then he's off to sweet dreams for the night. It's made of a great material that doesn't shed and soft enough he can suck on as he's teething. Great product.
