I own godinger dublin crystal dishwear but I didn't feel comfortable with a crystal pitcher as I felt it would be to heavy for my young daughters to use or even for me as I can be oh so very clumsy!Therefore I was looking for something acrylic but same design as my godinger dublin set.This pitcher, I admit, is perfect in everything I was looking for and more.It's made in thick acrylic and very durable as it has already survived a fall. Yet, despite the thickness, this pitcher is very lightweight. And when filled is manageable for my daughters to carry. Also it holds about half a gallon of milk, or in my case horchata.The lid is a pleasant bonus, as the godinger dublin pitcher comes with no lid. So it's like extra. It's made in the same acrylic and has an excellent seal that prevents spillage during pouring. Lid also has to spout openings one slotted and one without. All you have to do to switch between the two is twist the lid on pitcher 180°. The lid is also very flush and doesn't heap over the pitcher. It's so perfectly pretty and gives me the peace of mind that my beverage will remain fresh.Oh also, it's so insanely easy to clean.

This pitcher is not only good looking but actually very sturdy with a strong handle that can hold the weight. Fits perfectly in our smaller fridge.

I bought this acrylic pitcher for our camper due to not wanting glass. I am impressed by how thick and durable this is! And the fact that it true looks like crystal just makes it all the better! It's the perfect size - not too big or small, which makes it easy to clean as well.Would definitely buy more if/when the occasion arises.
