Immediately upon receipt I cut 30 twelve inch diameter plastic disks. with the bit in a trim router. Some were 1/8 inch and some were 1/4 inch thick. The bit cut both easily and left a smooth edge. I would buy again.

Buyer beware!! I bought two of these bits and their diameters were different. One was .0625 and the other was smaller. Screwed up three days of work. I’m so angry. If you buy two of them, check them with dial calipers!!!

I used this in my 3018 CNC machine for soft woods. It works perfectly.

I just completed over eight hours of cutting 1/4 inch cast acrylic (aka- Plexiglass) and this cutter is still perfectly sharp. On full depth convention milling cuts (single pass, 18k rpm @ 150 inches per minute) the cut quality was very smooth. On pocketing (or face milling) the cut quality was just okay, which is typical performance for an o-flute. Please have a look at the pic I added. This Amana cutter was well the $35 price tag!

This is clearly a great bit for plastic cutting. My only gripe is that while loading it in the machine it dropped to the concrete floor 3 ft. and shattered. Only used it 4-5 times on soft plastic. I expect this from Chinese bits that sell for let that $2/piece but Amana? Come on guys.
