These trail camera holder mounts are great! We have a target range set up throughout a forested area. These are perfect to screw into the tree trunks and hang a bow upon them when setting up the targets. The camo tape provided disguises them and protects the bows. When we are done, we can attach the trail cameras to watch for any animals that might pass by.These are strong, and the mounting screws hold tight. Recommend.

These trail cam mounts are really nice. I've been using a name brand mount for the last year, but I actually prefer this one because I feel like it's more versatile and easier to set your cam angles. And you get 4!!! I didn't use the camo tape, even though it might help with concealment. I've mainly just been using mine, hooked up to a solar panel and mounted very high on a tree to monitor thieves on the property. I've got it hooked up to a cellular stealth cam. It easily screwed into the tree, which I did before mounting the camera and the mount easily adjusted to the angle I had set prior. It works well and is a great value! The pictures attached show the camera with my old mount and set up and then a picture of the new mount attached to the camera. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of it mounted on the tree but will update the review once I get back out there.

These will work great for your trail camera or solar panels. The metal is great and screws into a tree fairly easily. There is plenty of room for the tree to grow and still not cause you an issue with your camera mount. The screws and knobs allow you to tighten this down into nearly any angle and then set it there firmly. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to set the camera at a 90 degree angle to the tree, but you can. You will need to play with the screws a little to get it to stay tightly where you want it, but as you can see in the picture I was able to do it pretty effectively. These come with camo tape, which is overkill, but looks nice. I applied some to the mount in the picture and it was easy and quick. These are perfect for your camera hanging needs.

The Reason for Selection:Wanted a better method to aim my camerasThe Good:The ball heads are easy to adjustThe Bad:My heavier camera in high wind moved after adjustmentThe Ugly:Nothing Ugly.General observations:I like that the ball head adjusters are an easy way to aim cameras. I installed two for a test. My lightweight, small camera faired well, while the bulkier camera ended up pointing down toward the base of the tree after a week long test.I admit, this could be user error on my part. I may have overtightened the ball head. We had 30 MPH gusts and one of the ball heads failed. I may have tightened it too much, or the ball head itself should not be used with anything over a certain weight.The listing does not provide any load information for their device so keep that in mind when purchasing.I would not use this to mount a DSLR as the listing advertises.The screw mount has a wood screw thread on one side and a 1/4-20 thread for the ball head mount. The ball head has a standard 1/4-20 female thread for mounting and a standard 1/4-20 thread for camera mounting. The ball head base is metal as are most of the components. The threaded fitting that screws into the camera is metal but the base that locks in the camera is plastic.
