I think i use a standard size chalk but this holder is too big. My chalk falls out anytime i want to use it. More trouble than its worth.

I see people complaining about the fit. What they are not mentioning is the metal sticker it comes with. It's a thin piece of round steel or something. You peel off the sticky side cover and stick it to your chalk. Then peel off the laminated blue film from the other side. Then just drop it in the holder and it's good for any normal usage. However, I don't see how the sticky side doesn't get less and less sticky over time when replacing chalk. The same logic goes for using double-sided tape to keep the chalk in place. Not a good idea at all either. How would you get the tape residue off the bottom of the holder (it has a non-stick panel inside, but that may prevent good adhesion from the tape in the first place)? I thought of something a little more basic and practical. I tore off a small piece of paper (can use a piece of paper towel, too), folded it a couple of times, and pushed it into the small gap of any side to use friction to keep the chalk in place and it'll never budge under normal usage. I don't have to worry about tape, or the provided metal disk losing stickiness. All that aside, I LOVE THIS THING! :) I thought it seemed too expensive but the quality, precision, and fit are just perfect, so I'll forgive that $12 seems a better fit at when you first see it. The magnetic top probably won't stay on if fumbled out of your hand while chalking your stick on a hard floor (it did stay when I dropped it on carpet), but the ergonomics should help that not happen. Nice rounded corners and easy to hold. The black finish may chip off over time, especially if dropped, but you will never have to worry about this thing "breaking". Even though the magnets used for the lid are super strong, if you beat it up enough, it'll lose its magnetism like all other magnets. So, as long as you're using it for pool and not basketball, you should be OK for years.

Pues la calidad es buena, pero esperaba se pudiera adherir a una base imantada, pero nop, entonces solo me sirve para guardar mi tiza

I bought this to keep our black chalk from painting our fingers. It does an adequate job of that, but I think it is better suited for someone that wants to travel with their own chalk and not necessarily for on-homd use. Honestly, would have liked something a little larger for the home. However, that is not the products fault. It is great and works well. Magnet is strong enough to stay on even in your pocket.

Works well to protect your chalk, magnet isn't bad but not that strong. Will hold my kamui chalk and it isn't a bad price for it. Have seen similar products for twice the price and this is just as goodNot a chalker it's made to keep your chalk covered and protect it. Works well. It doesn't pop open in your pocket. Also have others for my magic chalk. Don't set it on the table or it will get stolen.
