Did not provide any support. It was still too low for a chin pad. We returned it.

It fits so oddly that doesn't allow you to properly hold the violin.

I have gotten marks on my neck for years during practice sessions because of my violin, even with a shoulder rest. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to grip my violin as well with it on, but it makes it way more comfy and I can still hold it fine! It fits a little odd, and there some fabric kind of sticking out on the top, but it’s totally worth the comfort!

Elastic band didn't last. Got very loose and became difficult to keep on
