This vase sits in our dining table and looks just lovely! We have other vases in our home but the rustic style of this one stands out above the rest. We can fit quite the arrangement in these which is the exciting part. Our guests have asked about this vase as it is truly unique in our home. We are very happy with it, feeling the texture is an experience in itself.

This piece looks more like an expensive vase as far as the craftsmanship. It is a beautifully textured piece with a nice neutral color. It is also a heavy and solid. However, the one tiny downside is that the crackle pattern does not appear natural as it seems to flow in one direction and is not scattered or varied. I do like that this vessel can hold water which gives it the option to hold more than just dried flowers. But at the same time, it is so lovely that it could stand alone on a pedestal or a shelf or grouped with other items and still look incredible.

I loved the look of this vase, so I ordered. The vase arrived very well protected. The earth tone vase is very rustic with a textured crackle exterior with a smoother black interior; bottom has protective pads. Overall measurements are 9" x 9" and a height of 6.7"; mouth opening is ~4.5". Very sturdy with good weight.The finish has an old world feel; there are a couple areas that actually look like flaws. However, often times items are sold and given the broad term of rustic to encompass the imperfections to allow for artistic interpretation.

I suspect this attractive cracked surface, ceramic display pot was fired with the black glaze and then over painted with the peach impasto, because it initially shed fine peach flakes.

I really like this vase and it does go with a wabi sabi look. I wouldn't feature it prominently in a room, but it will make a really nice pot for a plant that goes with the interior. I like that the inside is glazed--that way it won't leave a ring on a table. I think the only down side is that the label says "gift" on it, and I feel like, ironically, usually things that are designed to be given as gifts aren't as nice as something that you would actually buy for yourself, which is what the recipient will think too. It's a piddly issue, but one that is easily fixed by removing the label. I hope the sellers will fix this in the future.
