Horrible quality and bad measurementBought this to have on hand for when my flux core welder emptied it's spool, which is used for times when my gas mig is not going to work ( like windy conditions), just opened it today, spool was vac sealed and seal was intact however the spool is not only heavily oxidized, meaning it was packaged that way, it was cracked in three places and just getting it on the machine was a headache, so many crossed areas I had to cut the first ten feet just in order to get it to begin feeding. Size is inaccurate because 5 minutes into welding I jammed and it wouldn't feed, so had to cut out a section and re thread the machine , barely got going again and in less than 5 minutes had yet another jam. Same problem. This stuff micrometers out at larger than the .35, it actually comes in at .37, this was measured using a 20 ft section of wire unspooled from the roll and measured at intervals of 2.5 inches, same .37 was the entire 20ft length.Avoid this wire like the plague it's completely unusable.

Advertised as .035 wire!!It’s .039!!!!!!Had to drill out the contact tips to make it work!!!Welds ok!!!!Just beware, it’s not .035 wire!!!!

Where can We get specs for this wire, i.e. stickout, volts, wirespeed, etc?Running 035 on ESAB Rebel 205ic, using ESABs recommendation for .25” steel 17v /~390 it makes terrible welds. Cranked upto 24v /~310 and its doing much better. Spatter is not too terrible, welds seem strong. Just need more info on wire…

They had a really good price on these cheaper than my local stores, my husband loves this stuff

The flux core wire welds really well and consistent. I will definitely order it again
