Needed to fix cords on christmas decorations with din power supply. I can fix cords with leads but when broke at plug I needed to use these cords. I wish the decorations had such a sturdy wire on them

Positive-Quality is better than most I've experienced from other suppliersMicro ohm readings (4 lead meter) has consistency pin to pin (some other connectors don't, showing weak connections)Connection while sliding pins together feels snug and after pin/sockets extracted from housing, still demonstrates a good connection and tight crimps.Bench PS shows it can run continuously at 120W but wire get very warm, even a bit hotNeg-Over rated wire size. Imprinted as 20 AWG but tests at 24 AWG solid copper equivalentPicture of conductors compared:1st picture shows Black wire (this JST) spec'd at 20 AWG, Blue wire is true 20 AWG and Green striped wire is true 24 AWG 100% copper, which is the wire used for comparison testing below.Using my 4 lead Micro-ohm meter, the JST wire has the same current capacity and M-ohms as the 24 AWG 100% copper pictured.2nd pict shows a true 20 AWG Silicone wire and these claimed 20 AWG (both tightly tinned).Using a adjustable bench power supply a pair of these wires run ok at 7A. I prefer very little heat in the wires so 5A is better. If you don't mind the wires heating up, 10A continuous. The plug/socket can take 10A with very little heat up .The wires are the weakest link here.Summary: I've bought many of this type of jst pigtails through various suppliers over time and these do seem to rank in overall quality nearly all of them even though the wire could be a size or two larger. Overall, probably as good as they come. I'm ordering more.

Only needed one but was so inexpensive it doesn't hurt to have extra
