Simply stunning! I bought it to pin on a decorated straw hat for a girls weekend in Florida. Gussy, as I lovingly named it, was a fun embellishment on my hat. The green part is a shiny, emerald green and the eyes are more pink than purple. Overall it has turned out to be one of my favorite pins.

I love pins and wear one on my sweater coats and jackets all the time. SInce I live on the coast I am always on the lookout for themed pins that reflect coastal habitat. Since I also love pearls this one just spoke to me (note he is holding a white pearl in his mouth.) It is a bbeautiful bright green and he is wearing a pink crystal collar and has pink crystal eyes. I do not know why the description indicates "amethyst" crystal as these are clearly hot pink in color. He is well made and has a great texture the gold feet and trin around the mouth and eyes accentuate the green color. My only note of other interest is that the pin closure is set to one side which means you will have to wear him situated east to west. You cannot face him north/south or he will fall over. This would be cute on summer shrugs as well as winter coats and sweaters. Very pleased.
