El tungsteno tiene una densidad máxima, por lo que tiene una sensibilidad privilegiada. Cuando te fihsing, puedes sentir que el pescado muerde fácilmente.

After swearing I’d never buy the obscenely-expensive tungsten when lead was cheap and readily available, I tried a tungsten weight on a fishing trip with my brother in law at his insistence. To my chagrin, he’s right, it’s just a better product. Tungsten is more dense than lead, so the same weight is smaller and much harder. The hardness results in an audible “click” on bottom structure and you can feel every bump, which helps as you navigate away from snags.I’ve since bought a bunch of different tungsten weights from a bunch of different brands, and they’re all about the same. The biggest quality concern is generally the hardness of the coating. Some chip easily and most do not.These weights (so far) have a quality chip-free finish, and I REALLY appreciate the clear, laser-etched weight markings on each weight, which help quickly differentiate them in the tacklebox. They’re priced significantly less than Academy or Bass Pro ($2 each there vs $1.25 here for the 1/4oz) so I highly recommend them.

One of my most indulged in hobbies is fishing. I love chasing bass and ripping lips. I travel all around the United States fishing different bodies of water. Basically, I fish a lot. Hooking up to that bass is just something I can't get enough of.Tungsten weights have many advantages, but Ive always kept my use of them at a minimum because I fish a lot and they are expensive. Not these though. I don't know how the manufactures did it, but these weights equate to about half the price per weight than the name brands ones. One thing I really like is that the actual weight is printed on the weight itself. That is really helpful for someone like me with a lot of tackle. I have a lot of lead bullet weights which are larger by weight so it wouldn't be hard to confuse a lighter lead weight with a heavier tungsten weight since they are likely to be the same size. Having the actual weight printed on them cuts that confusion. Tungsten is far more ecofriendly, its smaller by weight than lead, it adds some sensitivity to your line, and since tungsten is much denser than lead, the sound of a tungsten weight hitting a rock, or some kind of hard structure is beneficially different than the sound of lead. These weights have a super smooth finish to them and the holes are precision drilled without any burrs, so even those these lack liners; you won't get any line fraying. How this manufacturer produced a better-quality tungsten bullet weight at half the price of the name brands is beyond meThe only thing I would like to see is the addition of more colors like green pumping, plain, and/or even a flat black. These weights are a shiny black which is nice, but not conducive to every situation. I still think these are a great value. They are half the price of typical tungsten bullet weights and surprisingly enough seem to be made better. The weight is printed on the weight itself, and the hole is drilled smooth so no need for those pesky liners that always seem to fall out. As long as these tungsten weights remain in this price range I might finally be able to make the switch over to tungsten all together.

I ordered the 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4 oz set of these sinkers out of curiosity as to whether there would be any noticeable difference between tungsten sinkers and traditional lead sinkers. In terms of performance, I honestly can't tell any difference between the two. You can do your own research on why tungsten is supposed to be better than lead, but as casual fisher I really didn't notice any drastic improvement. That being said, I really enjoy using these sinkers. I can't exactly put it into words, but there is just something aesthetically pleasing about them which I really like. I know that is somewhat trivial, but if you'll be honest the fondness most sportsman show for much of their "special" gear is trivial and their performance is more of luck of that particular day than actual effectiveness.
