The twin bedspread (68” x 88)” and pillow sham (20” x 26”) arrived well packaged in a tight roll, enclosed in heavy plastic, inside a shipping box. There was no odor when the plastic was removed. The manufacturer’s description is very accurate. Take note that “expertly stitched” refers to the binding. The bedspread was created using ultrasonic quilting technology. The process of creating ultrasonic fabric involves bonding fabric layers together using ultrasonic energy, eliminating the need for traditional stitches or thread. There is no thread stitching in the design so there will be no threads breaking which can quickly make a quilt look worn or shabby. There were no loose threads that needed to be clipped. The fabric is polyester so it should not shrink or loose color. The fabric is smooth but the “quilting” method gives it a pleasant texture and should prevent wrinkles The pillow sham washed and dried well with no change. It is very difficult to describe the color. The manufacturer has provided several pictures of the quilt in different lighting, none of which look like the actual color on my computer. It is what I would call a medium sky blue. I found a bottle of Ensure that has label with the color blue that matches the bedspread color if you’re looking for a particular blue. I really like the bedspread. It would work very well as a picnic blanket, beach blanket or a covering on the floor for a baby to play on in addition to be a nice bedspread. I recommend checking how the size of this quilt would fit on your particular bed before buying so you are not disappointed.

Lightweight, soft, twin size, acame with a pillow sham. The color varied just a little bit from the picture on the add.
