Somehow, I misplaced my factory ronin SC handle/tripod at a wedding, and I found this one and wanted to give it a try. The grip on it is ok but does feel a little slick if your hand starts to sweat. I like the fact that it has accessory mounts built in the handle, but I'm not sure I will use them. I use it mostly to tripod rest my gimble in between wedding takes and it does the job. For the value I give it a thumbs up!

For 360 photography, I can put this on the bottom of my new monopod to set up 360 shots for real estate or VR shots. The legs are very wide and feel pretty stable even with a monopod extended atop it. The rig also works for a lightweight travel tripod rather than taking my full tripod on a video shoot.Without the monopod, I'll attach it to the base of my gimbal so I can set the gimbal down and get a break. And I may even do some handheld videography (the tripod is a perfectly round handle when collapsed) even without the gimbal. I'll just add a ball head and the camera atop this mini tripod. Lightweight too! I'm thrilled with this find.Note: there aren't multiple settings for the width of the legs. It's just open or closed (or precariously hand-positioned in between). So, if you have a narrow space on which to set up your camera, this tripod may open too wide for you.

Love it. Fits perfect and has the bonus of the screw in attachment ports
