I was pleasantly surprised by the product. It works as described. The parts are all marked with letter and hardware is numbered and in separate packages. Everything needed to make the frame are included in the package. The plans are detailed with warnings about what direction parts should assembled and what to be aware of during assembly.I did find the pictures of clip placement too small to really see the exact location of placement.The directions say to not cover the LED bulbs but did not specify what they looked like if you don’t know what or how LED light strips work.I got the head board assembled in about 4 hours but I’m not really good at assembly so maybe more experienced people would do it faster.Once I got it put together it looked good. lights worked in many colors. The remote was fully functional. My bed fit the opening.It would have been nice to have backings for the cubby shelves so things wouldn’t fall out the back. I can always make my own at some point.The boards are plastic laminated pressboard but look nice. The frame is metal with welded parts where needed.The screw holes line up and everything fit where it was supposed to go. Make sure to keep the screws in their packaging except for the ones you are using or you will get confused, some are very similar in size.Corners are rounded on the outside frame. The kits comes with brackets so you can attached the frame to the bed frame it you want to.I would purchase this product again.The shelves are strong enough for me to clamp my articulated reading lamp on.

I needed a headboard for my bed that lifts up and didn't want something that could be in the way. This is great for the price! I added the cushion onto it to give it some dimension and pizazz. Only thing is the lights that came with it doesn't stick well to the board and keep coming off. But the lights do work and are cute in the dark. I personally can't sleep with any light on though so I don't need it. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

We have an adjustable bed and needed something freestanding because our frame has no way to screw to a headboard. We found this and love it, looks good and modern and the charging station is perfect. Our headboard is tucked between the bed and wall and seems pretty stable although I would not put fragile items on this without further securing, like to the wall. I can't speak on the brackets to an existing frame as I did not use them but it seemed to have multiple options for different frame sizes/types. The lights are a nice feature, with multicolors and even music mode where it will react to sound. It took me about 3 hours to put together solo and comes with everything you need.

For the price it’s a great deal sturdy lights are cool and pretty simple to assemble

It takes 2 people longer than an hour to put together. It attaches easier to a squared edge bedframe. Instruction booklet included and fairly easy to understand and parts well marked. My granddaughters love the LED lights and plug-ins.
