High frequencies are horrible. Buy the Audio Technica original instead (AT-VMN95E)

The stylus audio quality itself tends to sound really weird, particularly during high frequencies. At times it sounds distorted and saturated on certain records. I have it balanced fairly well and have it installed on the cartridge, clicked in and everything. However, its nice that it comes with a 3-in-1 record cleaning kit, with 2 of the other tools (brush cleaner and stylus cleaner) contained within the record brush itself.

I wasn't sure I would be able to hear a difference with this needle, but had read about the elliptical stylus having superior sound, so I gave it a try. I really like it. It slid right on to the tone arm and works great.I hope it lasts, I will definitely recommend it to anyone who asks as a great replacement stylus. Sound is very clear and high end.It came well packaged and also with record and needle cleaning accessories. Very good deal.

This stylus fit my Audio Technica cartridge perfectly and plays well. I compared it to the OEM stylus and it has a slightly different sound signature. I actually found the lows deeper but the highs maybe a little harsh but not off putting. The brush set is a nice addition. All-in-all this set is an excellent value and a great backup or replacement stylus.

This needle was incompatible with my turn table as described on the website.
