I used to feel like a caveman, plugging my phone in like some kind of medieval peasant. But thanks to this magical little device, I now enter my car like a tech-savvy wizard—CarPlay just appears on my screen as if summoned by the car gods. No cables, no fumbling, just instant connectivity.Setup? So easy, even my dog could do it (if he had opposable thumbs). Connection? Fast and reliable—like a good friend who always shows up on time. Now, if only it could drive the car for me…If you’re tired of untangling cords like you’re preparing for battle, this is the upgrade your car deserves. Highly recommend—unless, of course, you enjoy suffering with wires.

After trying out two different brands of wireless CarPlay devices, each with “fair” connection performance, I did some online research and found this device. Initially, I was concerned about the dongle taking up too much room in the USB compartment area in my F150 versus the previous “stick” types. However, after just a day with the unit, I came to the following conclusion: 1. It was a breeze to set up with the well documented paper instructions that accompanied the drive; 2. The unit connects really fast after initial install; 3. The unit connection to my phone/truck is rock solid stable; 4. The data transmission between my phone and the device is very fast — no longer the chopping audio coming from SIRI; and 5. The short dongle is actually much easier to manipulate to the USB port in my F150 than the stick devices were. Bottom line, a winner in all categories.

I have an older model car that has a large touchscreen display but does not have wireless CarPlay. The dealer asked lots of money to upgrade the last few years, this adapter solved that problem a few years later. The original wired CarPlay was a safety risk since I had to deal with the wired often, this unit not only made the driving experience better, but it also improved the safety factor.This thing is pretty much plug/play and is very efficient, it just needs a USB power source. Enable your Bluetooth and WiFi, once you pair the Bluetooth, you’re good to go.The setup was simple, it only took a few minutes. Once set, it turns on with the car and off when the car is off, a beautiful combination of forms and functions. Now I don’t have to deal with wire connection anymore. Once connect, all the apps work perfectly just like with the wired CarPlay. One other thing that made this stands out among the rest is the sleek and simple design of the unit. Its small form factor made it the top choice among similar products on the market. I wish I had known about this product sooner.
