tried with my laptop to display on a bigger monitor and it worked. does the job just fine.

I had high hopes, but they were dashed after. only about 2 hours of use. I used it to make a monitor a teleprompter for video, and naturally in the middle of production, it died. Can't get it to work to save my life. Do not recommend.

I got this for my old MacBook Air so that I could have a display on my monitor. This thing is small and makes doing that easy. The price isn’t bad either.
