does the job, BUT gets confused on monitor sleep. Buy this, get used to going to settings and resetting 'extend' mode. sorry, but this is 2025, this should not happen.

This is a lifesaver when you need to daisy chain Display Port monitors. Monitors with an In and an Out port cost a fortune. Thanks to this, there is a large selection of monitors to choose from.

🌟 Quality:The build quality of this splitter isn’t the best. When it arrived, the housing looked a bit off, almost like it had been exposed to high heat, and that affected my confidence in its durability. I also noticed that the connector type wasn’t quite what I expected based on the product listing. For the price, I was hoping for something more solid and consistent.⚙️ Functionality:This splitter worked as advertised for my dual-monitor setup, but only at 1080p resolution. When I tried using it with 4K monitors at 60Hz, it didn’t perform reliably—sometimes the screens would flicker or display “no signal.” However, at lower resolutions, it worked smoothly without any noticeable drop in frame rate or quality issues. For my 1080p needs, it’s been a reliable addition to my setup, but it doesn’t seem fully compatible with higher resolutions as claimed.💰 Price:At $48, the price feels a bit steep for what you’re getting. Given the build quality and the inconsistent performance with 4K, I would have expected a lower price. It’s decent for adding 1080p monitors, but I’m not sure it’s worth it if you’re aiming for a high-resolution setup.🏆 Overall:Overall, it’s an okay splitter if you’re using 1080p monitors, but I’m disappointed by the performance at 4K and the less-than-ideal build quality. It does the job for basic dual-monitor setups, but if you’re looking for reliable 4K support, this might not be the best option.

My PC has 1 DP and one HDMI output.I have dual monitors and wanted a third, so I ordered this to create to outputs from a single displayport.IMPORTANT:This is an "active" DP splitter. It splits a single DP output into TWO different DP displays, NOT mirrored.Once I had it all plugged in, I powered up and had my dual monitors running off the one DP port.PERFECT! Then I plugged the third monitor into my now free HDMI port. 3 monitors working now 😊This works fabulous, EVEN though I don't have DP monitors. Both outputs from this adapter are using DP=>HDMI adaptor cables. After a week, I found out this same company ALSO makes a DP -> 2 xHDMI adapter!I ordered that one too. It lets me do the same thing as this adapter, but without using two DP -> HDMI adapter cables. Both devices work great. No glitches, DPMS works, no power issues, no problems whatsoever.Perfect solution, I like it 😊
