I use a handle on the left side of my mirrorless camera rig, and this simple device allows me to quickly change the angle of any rosette attached device like a handle to my rig or on a gimble. Simple but effective. It allows much quicker changes than getting out your allen wrench to change your grip. Recommended.

So this isn't really an adapter. It's a bit more of a specialty item for use in certain circumstances. You need an existing rosette to attach it to. But it does allow you to make quick adjustments so you can change the angle of attachments quickly. That's where this really shines.

I had a use in mind for this. It turns out that there was an unforeseen flaw in my design: It does not fit the intended device. But I do not believe this is the fault of the Tilta Quick Adjust Rosette Adapter. I believe the intended attach point is the culprit.The world of photography is filled with a plethora of accessories all built to a well respected set of industry standards, 1/4” x 20 pitch threads, for example. If you are looking at this product, it is likely none of this is news to you. In the film industry, there are a number of standards which were invented by film camera manufacturers which migrated to “industry standard” territory. One of these is the Arri Rosette (Arri is one of the heavy-hitters in the cinema camera industry). The Arri Rosette is the splined disc that is designed to mate with a corresponding surface to allow components to be joined without the fear of slippage between the surfaces.One of my “selfie” sticks (I use these as a “poor man’s” camera boom arm) has a Rosette fitting which apparently is not made to the Arri standard.The good: “Super” well made. Solid. It has a very smooth rotation action. I can tell by its feel that this device provides precise control in the filming environment.Less than good: Nothing observed here. Caveat - this is small, but heavy for its size. For travel this could weigh down a gear bag a bit, particularly if joined up with similarly made products.Bottom line: Very high quality - and a bargain price for this caliber of equipment.

It's okay but it's not like the ease of use and stability of a similar offering from Kondor Blue or if you really want to go all out, Spyder Grips (I think that's the correct spelling). It does the job, just not in the best manner and I'm not a fan of the way you mount this. There's an internal hex screw. It's pretty average but again, this isn't the only offering of its type so keep looking around.
