Gave this to my brother at Christmas and he loves it. Easy to set up and easy to read. Pretty accurate too. Great buy. Would definitely recommend

Double checked the external sensor with a professional Davis weather station, very good accuracy in temperature, slightly less in humidity ( it shows a bit less of the accurate) , easy to install and understand, many functions and beautiful. I am waiting for the prediction part as it needs 2 weeks to auto-setup and start predictions, but for the moment , it's easy5 stars

I have an older acurite weather station but after about 10 years the sensor stopped working. Since a new sensor cost almost as much as a new unit I bought this one. (Nice thing is I kept my old one up in another room because they both read off the same sensor.) Everything works well and I bought this one because it shows the high and low temperatures for the day and you can even find the recorded highs and lows for all the time it's been up. I saw a couple of complaints because it is difficult to read from below but if you hang it on the wall there is an easy fix for that. Use a longer screw and leave it sticking out about 3/4 to 1 inch and then you can change the angle of the screen to make it readable from any height. Mine is at about 6 1/2 feet and I can read it sitting down or standing up. If this is your first weather station you can not go wrong with this one.

Original Review:I spend a lot of time in our backyard and having a solid thermometer and hygrometer helps a lot. We have a few indoor thermometers and hygrometers from the same brand and their accuracy is very nice. So we wanted to try this device. Overall it has almost everything you need from this kind of products.First of all it looks very professional. When you hold it in hands its very light and you might feel like a little cheap material but it definitely is not. Works either with battery or power. I keep the battery inside and plugged it. Just in case we loose power, it will keep the settings. Backlight is at low set if battery only operated. You can activate brightness for 10 seconds. If power operated you have high (%100), mid (%50) and low (%15) options or an Auto dim option. The outdoor sensor is battery operated and straight forward to use. You just have to match the A, B or C setting on the sensor and main unit.You have indoor and outdoor temperatures, humidity, date, time, moon phase, barometric pressure. It also shows 12-24 hour weather cast based on a self calibrating forecasting which uses a special algorithm to analyze changes in pressure over time. Not sure about it’s accuracy but will see in time.Using the settings is very easy and well explained in the handbook that comes with the unit. Also has trouble shooting which worked very well for me.I tested/compared the product with 3 different thermometer/hygrometer and with +- 1-1.5 for temperature and +/- 4-5% humidity difference it is completely within the acceptable limits for me. Today we have little rain and the humidity shows nicely %80 which is very nice.The outdoor sensor is water resistant (haven’t tried it under rain) but not sure it will be safe to leave it outside to an open area. The battery case might catch rain and will be harmful for the batteries It’s recommended to protect from direct weather elements. I just put it under a bird house on a tree to protect from direct sun and rain.Overall I am happy with my purchase. Will see how long it will keep working without issues

Compré este producto para saber la temperatura del exterior y saber si es seguro sacar a las mascotas en las mañanas frías e Incluso si usar suéter para salir porque los pronósticos del clima siempre son muy generales y muchas veces no representan la temperatura local donde estas ubicado.La precisión es muy buena, tengo otro monitor de la misma marca y la diferencia nunca es mayor a 1 grado. Me gustó que tiene respaldo de baterías (no incluidas) en caso de que se vaya la luz no perder la configuración.Lo único que no me gustó es que no tienes la opción de apagar por completo la luz, en las noches tengo que poner el display boca abajo porque la luz es molesta inclusión en su nivel más bajo. Otra cosa negativa es que debido al tipo de display tienes que observarlo a la altura de los ojos o si no no verás los números.En general es bueno y lo recomiendo.

cumple con su función, pero la luz de la pantalla se prende sola cada cierto tiempo con el máximo brillo y en las noches te despierta, aun cuando seleccionaste la opción de apagado.

Es un buen producto. Muestra las temperaturas correctas. Ya pasó su periodo de aprendizaje y sigue mostrando todos los días lluvia en su pronóstico y ni siquiera hay nubes en el cielo.

Practico pero le falta contraste

Mi plan era colgarlo en la pared, pero la pantalla no tiene buen contraste desde un ángulo inferior. Tuve que cambiar de planes y ubicarlo en un escritorio. Funciona muy bien, mide la temperatura exterior e interior correctamente.
