I installed this onto my 2002 Boxster. There's some feint static noise when no music is playing, but when music is playing its great and there is no static.This may be more of a car specific thing, but the adapter stays powered on constantly and doesn't time out after I turn the car off.

For a Porsche 996 with a CR 220 and CD3. Disconnected the CD-3 plugged in BT adapter connected right to BT Mike works great works with Siri . Received calls through Speakers . Can't beat the price and perfectly pinned. Only flaw is wiring is thin so be careful not to tug too much on connector

Used it on Becker/Mercedes BE6085/BE6086 "Audio 5" in Smart Forfour (W454).The same stereo could be found in Mercedes Vito, Sprinter, W169 and so on.The unit is always on, so you can connect to its Bluetooth on the way to the car.

Not sure of the issue. It worked at first but now is not reliable after a few weeks.

Installed in my 986 Boxster with the CDR220. Install was a breeze (aside from radio being stuck but that's a different issue). Connector fit perfectly, the unit tucks away nicely to the left behind the TC switch. Drilled a hole in one of the switch blanks for the microphone, which is loud and clear according to anyone I've talked to. It's ubobtrusive, too. Sound quality is surprisingly good considering the stereo itself, and there is ZERO interference noise. Connection is stable as well.The one issue, and it's not with the product itself: the Bluetooth device stays powered on when the car is turned off. This is an issue with the design of the car, but is something to be aware of. Debating running a wire to a switch I can hide somewhere. You'd think that if you turn the stereo off, the system would stop providing power, but that's not the case for some reason. Like I said, this isn't a fault with the Bluetooth device.
