If you are looking for a neat helmet net to spice up one of your helmets, this is the one for you. If you are shopping for an authentic WW2 US helmet net, buy the one from At The Front, because that one is historically accurate and this one is not. If you're looking for a tactical net for real military use, this is not for you because 1) it glows under night vision and 2) the fibers are cotton. They burn (not melt), will rip more easily and cannot be repaired. I own a post-WW2 US M1 helmet so I didn't need a "correct" net. I just wanted to make it look cooler. For that, this net is perfect.The band is so thick that the outer and inner helmet shells would not fit nicely. The outer shell sat way too high on the liner. At first I severed the band in a couple spots to relieve tension- Mistake! Because I discovered that the right answer is to trim the band long-ways, leaving 1 thread to keep it together. This way it stays snug but isn't so thick to keep the shells apart.On 1 piece helmets the band may not be an issue. But on the US M1 it was. My problem now is that because I severed the band, some spots are too loose which shows. Not a big problem, as the strands will become more distressed with use. I use this helmet to play war with my son and as a shelf display piece.I wish the band were made thinner because there is no reason for it to be so thick, so for that I take away 1 star, but otherwise this net is what it is. A cheap way to spice up that helmet, when you don't need 100% historical accuracy.

Does it's job and is cheap. It glows under NODs if you are concerned about that. Fits great on my Large ACH but the elastic does get annoying so I cut it off and zip tied it to my scrim

Others have said it doesn’t fit an ACH helmet. Here I show it fits. Have to take everything off, install the net, then reinstall the rails and stuff. It’s a tight fit as it should be. Just need to adjust the netting and pull to make it even all around.
