To awkward to use often - I went and bought some Irwin Quick Grips instead. The release is positioned to use with your thumb, but the natural place for your fingers are then on the finger squeeze section, which if you put any pressure on, the release doesn't work (you're fighting yourself). Maybe I'm too used to other style clamps that force you to move your fingers off the finger squeeze section. And the release is small and super stiff (it is a heavy duty clamp).

This set of sturdy clamps is certain to come in handy for a variety of woodworking tasks. The smooth track makes them highly responsive to tighten quickly and effectively. The rubber grips are easy to remove if necessary. Converting it to a spreader is easy to do and is an excellent feature not found on all types of clamps. The perfect addition to any household.
