They are silicone, but they are much smaller than I thought. They’re the size of pony beads. Guess I should’ve done more research on the description, returning them just because of the size.

I was SO excited to get these but when they arrived I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! The holes are too big.

Loved these to use in my Spectrum’s baby hair, very safe. She doesn’t try to eat these ones.

These beads are great and at a good price for silicone beads. There is so sound. They don't hurt when you shake your head. They are lightweight which reduces tension on scalp and they don't hurt when you sleep. My 5 y/o loves them! Definitely worth it and also I counted and I had 300 beads in my package. I liked them so much that I ordered them 2x. There's no bead threader included but that's OK because you can loop the hair around a bobby pin and use that instead.
