I have zero issues using non-HP ink, even if the printer tells me that it is not recommended.In any case, the combo Pack for my HP 7740, and I couldn't be happier!The installation was a breeze, and my printer recognized the cartridges instantly. The print quality is excellent, with vibrant colors and crisp text. I've printed hundreds of pages, and the ink levels are still intense. This is a fantastic alternative to the expensive OEM cartridges, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and cost-effective ink solution.Remember, it's not an HP product, but it works perfectly for me!"Disclaimer. I downgraded my HP 7740 to factory default long ago and turned off Auto Update.

I've used HP ink plan for several years and finally got tired of the monthly charge to my credit card so I have been experimenting with various other compatible ink products. So far all have worked well in my HP printer. Quality of printed documents, both in black or in color, is equivalent to what I produced with HP ink for almost half the cost. I have had no problem with my printer recognizing these cartridges and they are just as easy to install as original HP ink.
