I usually hook from tail through body and push as much of the brain out (gross I know) but this was very easy to use. I like the dual hook feature and they were easy to use with the gulf shrimp I get from the dock. Hope I have a better day tomorrow, weather was no good today. Not the product's fault though! I will continue to try these and report back.

I had high hopes because of the design of these. I can’t bash them too much because a lot depends on what kind of fish you’re after. I was fishing in an area where there are a lot of Whiting and saltwater catfish. They kept getting the shrimp picked off without getting the hook. The hooks are super sharp which makes it a little tricky to get your shrimp on there without sticking your fingers. I still like the design of these and I’ll keep trying to find some fish that will eat shrimp, hook and all. Not these guys that pick it off bit by bit.

What a great idea! These hooks work very well. Simply take a rubber band and attach it to the loop, then slide it over the shrimp’s horn, then stretch the band and slide the little metal catch behind the shrimp head. The two hooks are positioned on either side of the shrimps body in perfect position to hook your fish.Very happy and satisfied. Will buy again.

These live shrimp hooks are exactly what you need if you’re fishing with the squirmiest, most escape-prone bait known to man. The size and shape are great for keeping live shrimp secure without instantly turning them into ex-shrimp.The hook design lets the shrimp move naturally in the water, which definitely helped attract more bites. I had solid luck with inshore species drum, snook, and one overly ambitious pinfish that bit off more than it could chew. They’re sharp (trust me, I found out the hard way), and they hold up well after repeated casts and a few “I swear that was a bite” false alarms. Only downside is they can be a bit tricky to handle if you’ve got cold hands or zero patience, but that’s more of a me problem than a hook problem.Overall, great performance, solid hold, and enough stealth to keep shrimp lively and fish curious.9/10. Would recommend , just keep band-aids nearby if you’re clumsy like me.
