I haven't been able to take the light for a swim yet, so I can't comment on that functionality for sure.Threads are well cut and come pre-lubricated. O-rings help seal up the body and several spares were included. Flashlight uses a single 21700 battery which definitely helps with run times over 18650s.The 3400 lumen estimate seems realistic from other lights with similar outputs I have. On medium didn't really notice much heating, high would get warm but not hot in-hand. Seeing as its intended as a dive light, thermals really shouldn't be an issue.The handle was comfortable enough, and there's an included wrist strap which would definitely be helpful in the water. I had to change my grip to get to the controls from how I normally wanted to hold the light, but that's more a preference thing than an issue.The UI helps prevent accidental activations in a bag (double tap to turn on), and cycles through modes without going through strobe which is always appreciated.And for an unintended practical test; a few days ago I had a really bad high-wind storm come through where we just expected a little rain. As I scrambled to try to secure things on the deck, this was the light I first had at hand. 80mph wind and rain for around half an hour and it had absolutely no problems. Plus it had enough throw for me to see across the yard and get an idea of how bad some tree damage was getting. I doubt they had hurricane winds in mind, but its always nice to know that something will hold up for the unexpected.Only gave four stars because of my personal preference for handle shape (nothing was sharp or really made for pressure spots, just not my favorite), button placement with a comfortable (again for me) grip, as well as wider spacing between the brightness levels or ramping would again fit my preference.

Solid.This light is well built and feels very durable.At 9.7 oz it feels very solid and sturdy; not too heavy and not too light. The size is absolutely great in the hands as your fingers wrap around the smooth metal and have an ergonomic feel with the positioning of the on/off button. It has grooves or patterns around the shaft which helps create a tactile feeling so it won't slip out your hands. The button is very cool and lights up when turned on. It's not a mechanical button/lever but rather a press button.Depending on the feature/setting it can be red or green. See pictures. It's bright AF for a little light of its size, but the battery is no-joke. It's got some serious power behind it. Good thing it comes with its own battery charger!It's definitely water resistant because look at the 3 O-rings in the picture 🤓. I plan on using it for scuba diving and usually go as deep as 130 feet and this should be just fine. My other Sofirn SD01 did just fine at that depth.The tie-hole on the butt is so spacious you can attach any lanyard you want; bonus it came with a generously long and thick lanyard already.The threads to open the butt of the light for the battery is quite long and you have to turn it 5-6 times which means it's very well sealed especially with 3 O-rings in place.I would highly recommend this dive light or as a tactical light. Heck even for walking at night for safety. It's solid enough to beat a mofo with lol.

Very good led flashlight for the money, everything is included in this bundle even the 21700 battery and the charger.10/10 Value10/10 Brightness10/10 Fit and finish10/10 Easy functionCan't go wrong with any Sofirn flashlights, my collection is rapidly growing with Sofirn products. A+ in my book.
