Typical for each of the first 3 collects tested (1/4", 3/8", 1/2") was .0035 to .0075 TIR (yes I did clean them) each taken at 1/4 inch off the ER32 collet face. I was going to return them until I looked between the ER32 slot cuts and saw burs (pictures here). Also noticed not all the matching slots were cut evenlyequally.Spent a long time "deburring", removing the chips and burrs between the ER32 cut slots, and cleaned the sharp edges (all of which the manufacturer should have done). Retest now has typical TIR range of .0015 to .0035 at 1/4inch off the face of the collets. Also noticed the orientation of collet in chuck will changeincrease the TIR. Next is to check it at 2 inches off the face. I've had better tooling, but for the price and what I'm doing they’ll probably work okay, but I’m still disappointed in them. I’ve got to now check and (assume) fix the rest of the collets. Then probably buff the outer faces. I got what I paid for, but don’t think worth it.Update. Collets 5/8 and 5/16 same issue (added 3 photos). Pushed the chips to the inside to show. Removed chips, deburred and cleaned then rechecked and found same improvement.Buffed all 5 collets, smoothing sharp edges, and found much improved.Will keep only because of the work I’m doing but will not buy from this suppliermanufacturer again.
