I use this to cut mostly thin copper alloys, and it works well for that.

Tried on 20 g silver sheet cuts good [1] the angle of cutting edge slightly rises on silver , usually does with most sheers with thick edges, so flatting is a must on longer cuts [2] not so good ergonomically holding the handle [tappered] seems to focus the power of cutting on the two smaller fingers of my hand of the large end of sheer [3] the locking shut tab on handle is very cheep , I took it off immediately [4] I was not looking for higher end more tailored sheers , small tip and price for the cleaning up on jewelry it works as I expected [5]seeing a screw in place of a riviot on pivot point a plus I like [6] longevity , well see , right now I would buy it again
