These filters are a bit different from OEM. They can be installed and work but not of the same design as original. The fuel system on diesels are a bit finicky and the HP pump on many of these are under recall. I would avoid anything but oem to avoid issues.

The original OE filters will work down to 3-micron, it is my understanding that these are somewhere between 5-10 micron. Additionally, the body of these filters are a little different and will not readily accept the original OE "sock" that surrounds the filter. I was able to remove my OE sock and slip it over this filter in reverse, which for the most part covers the entirety of the body, however it doesn't clip into place on the opposing "face" of the filter body like original. Materially speaking, they are very close. I'm a real stickler for maintenance, so with these subtle differences, and the affordable asking price for these, I can afford to change them out more frequently without complaint.
