I do a lot of scrapbooks and travel journals. I've tried all kinds of things for applying glue to covers to lay down large sheets of decorative paper. I've used glue mops, pallette knives . . . all kinds of things. These allow you to apply glue to large spaces smoothly, without leaving lumps and bumps behind. The five different sizes allow you to find the right size for the project, whether you're gluing a sketch or decorated paper to a postcard or covering a sketchbook cover with colorful wrapping paper. They are also easy to clean up afterward.

Paint movers are great for abstract painting. This set has everything I needed for different sized works. They are well made and clean off easily.
