I purchased these to use on my Patio chairs on my enclosed porch. I used enough for 8 chairs and so far 3 of the 32 used have split/cracked and fallen apart. I would not recommend.

I'm about to move 1,300 miles using U-Boxes and rather than disassemble my 20-30 wire racks, I'm going to fill them with my possessions and wrap them with rolls of stretch film. Rather than risk damaging the 4" rubber wheels and giving up a few extra inches of potential shipping space on the top shelves, I'll temporarily replace the wheels with these. They should also provide more stability with a lower center of gravity. The best part is that each shelf will use only 70 cents worth of these and while I may keep those that come through unscathed, keeping the wheels and the post threads like new are the only important things to worry about. And, with these caps, NO WORRIES!

Sometimes I like to pick up old tables or chairs at yard sales that need fixing up. It seems like they are always missing rubber feet on the legs. I didn't realize that 7/8" is the standard size and I don't have to make a special trip to the hardware store each time. This pack of 40 will make my life so much easier. And at .16 each, that's a steal. I recently picked up two old folding card tables that were in good shape except for the naked tube legs. That jagged metal could really tear up the floor, but these 7/8" caps did the trick. And I still have 32 of them left!
