Trash product, useless, the idea is great but this isn't even close to hydrophobic. The glare from vehicles behind me is worse, the fog is worse, it's just bad. Cheap Chinese trash and a waste of time and money. Do. Not. Bother.

Not easy to install and get out all the little air dots so made the mirror look dirty. Also did nothing to improve view when raining/wet. Wasted money.

I had some doubts when I first ordered this item on if they could really help prevent rain from accumulating on the mirrors, but they seem to do a decent job. While it won't prevent every single rain drop from hitting your mirror, it does help them slide off faster and keeps your mirrors clear enough that your visibility isn't hindered too much in extreme weather. There are four that come in the package so you can replace them once before having to order a new kit. It seems like the coating that they use on the film lasts about half a year to a year depending on factors like if your car is garaged, etc. Overall, if you are looking for a cheap and inexpensive way to keep your mirrors clear in inclement weather, then this is a decent option. It also blends into the mirror decently well on clear days so it's not too obvious that these are present.

it’s held up for a few months with many road trips and car washes. but i’ve noticed it’s not quite water resistant.
