My truck has two batteries with exposed electrodes/poles. These covers looked like they would provide the perfect protection. They are large enough, soft, flexible and durable. In order to affix the covers, I would need to loosen the cable connections to the batteries to feed the cables through the loops. For now, since the cables are so tightly attached, I postponed putting the covers on until other battery maintenance is needed. (Wishfully, design-wise, it would be good if, rather than a loop, there was a snap or other means of holding the cover in place.)

Used these on my boat battery connections to provide an extra margin of safety. Easy to install and large enough to fit large cables and terminals.

Very high quality craftsmanship and materialsPlastic is very soft and supple and can be molded around odd shapes and tied down to cover the exposed metal.I highly recommend these as they can be used for multiple applications as I use them on my solar battery banks and my cars
