1 Lo que más me gusto es la facilidad de usar, no tienes que ajustar nada, el grosor de diámetro de la cinta adhesiva. Se abre como si fuera una tapa, se inserta la cinta adhesiva, y se vuelve a poner la tapa. Este sistema de tapa sirve para que no se ladee o mueva hacia los lados la cinta, lo que permite con más seguridad y fuerza poner la cinta. Otro punto que me gusto, es que la navaja no trae sistema de seguridad, ni cauchos, es decir, asume que sabes que te puede cortar y que se manejara con cuidado. La navaja SI es filosa y grande para hacer cortes fáciles y constantes. Lo utilice con una cinta adhesiva con un hueco de 2.5 cm de ancho(1 pulgada) y de 150 metros de largo(ancha) y cabe sin problemas en el sistema tapa.Otro punto a favor, al ser sistema de tapa, es que la cinta cuando la cortes, no se va a hacer fea, apachurrar con ella misma o desperdiciar, porque la cinta está firme y lo único que se corta es donde se marca con la navaja y casi siempre queda una cinta pequeña LISTA PARA USARSE. El rodillo es firme, lo que sirve para qué la cinta siempre este en contacto con el paquete y así se vaya pegando firme al paquete. El material es plástico, pero resistente, es decir, no un plástico delgado. Lo compre por $450 MXN, ENTONCES, buscar ese precio, porque puede llegar hasta $700 MXN. Mi recomendación es que siempre compres productos enviados y vendidos por AMAZON MÉXICO Y/O AMAZON ESTADOS UNIDOS, porque te asegura el mejor precio posible, envíos de 1 a 2 días y si viene de ESTADOS UNIDOS te llega como en 5 días con impuestos y envió incluido (en este caso no pagas impuestos porque es menor de 50 dólares), EJEMPLO, lo compre por $450 total y venía de AMAZON ESTADOS UNIDOS(envió incluido)

Nice lightweight gun with a great cutting edge that works perfectly when you pull straight down. Not a fan of the retractable blade which works off the plastic piece that stands up. When that plastic piece breaks the retractable blade won't work. There is a model that does come without the retractable blade and that is the one I would suggest if you have a tendency to drop your tape guns. If you don't drop your gun and it is not going to be prone to breakage then I would suggest this.

This works great! I wore my other one out after one year. It has the perfect weight and balance, plus the handle is ergonomically correct. Makes my work a whole lot easier.

The Scotch Low Noise Tape Dispenser is great when the tape is loaded properly.If you or someone around you is noise-sensitive, and you do a lot of packaging, this can help quite a bit.I ordered one to test how well it works, and was disappointed at first; I was disappointed because I loaded it improperly.If not loaded properly, this dispenser will be as loud or louder than normal dispensers.I suspect many negative reviewers here did not load it properly.There are images on the box for this dispenser that show how to load it; I attached the most helpful of these images to this review.Basically, standard dispensers create a lot of noise by rapidly pulling tape away, making a lot of tension into a strong and loud vibration.This low-noise dispenser has a spring-loaded bar that dampens noise in a couple ways.First it pulls the tape away from the roll in the direction of the roll as opposed to perpendicular to the roll.And second the spring-loaded rod absorbs much of the vibration in the tape that creates noise.The negatives of this are that it is more difficult to load and takes a little more effort to pull the tape out.But I feel these negatives are well-worth the benefits of noise reduction.Describing the noise difference is difficult; it is like a whine versus a whimper, perhaps about a 7 to 10 decibel difference.
