This is a novel toy/feeder. It is sturdily built, the centre casing is secure enough that it remains in place once in position (and if tipped over), but easy enough to pull out for you to put the ‘small’ treats or biscuits in. The side food compartments have to be flipped open, but don’t stay open, so the dog needs to get the treat out with his tongue, while holding it open with his snout, definitely easier for a smaller dog. For some reason I thought that the internal mechanism would release food into different food compartments each time it was pushed, this is not the case. When pushed once, ALL the biscuits were released into all the compartments, which means once the dog has eaten them there is no more to be had until it’s refilled. Only reason I removed a star. So really it’s a one feed toy. The squeaky, colourful, rubber balls are a great success however, even with my cats.

This dog toy is great. It is very sturdy and the non slip bottom will help it stay put. My dog loves sniffing and this gives her te opportunity to do so and get a treat as well. She really quickly discovered how to get to the treats, but I don't put a treat in all so she has to sniff to find the treat. She did not figure out how to push the button, we still have to do that for her.Although this is designed for dogs that eat too quick to help them eat more slowly it also helps our dog, who is a very fussy eater and never finishes her bowl of food. This way eating is more fun, so she tends to eat more. The two balls that come with it are extremely sturdy and bouncy our dog LOVES them. She is a chewer, but haven't been able to destroy these balls. They are pretty small, perfect for our medium sized 14kg dog, but might be too small for a bigger dog.Overall very good quality dog toy. Would highly recommend it

This interactive dog toy/feeder is a great concept. Load food into it and your dog gets some each time they press down on the centre part. Our dog is not highly motivated by food, so is only interested in "working" for it when we put treats in it. That means we mainly use this toy to give her treats when we're leaving her for a few hours. We place it down, she sniffs around it. We push the centre and leave her to find the food under the flaps around the sides. Unfortunately, she has not learned to push the centre for herself yet, but that probably says more about her than this toy. :)EDIT: I forgot to mention the balls that came with this food puzzle - they are exceptional quality and she loves them. She has maybe 10 different balls, but keep coming back to these ones. Like all squeaker balls, the squeaker didn't last long, but otherwise these balls are still like new after a lot of play, and that's really saying something with our dog that likes to dismantle them. If these balls were sold separately, we'd be back for more!

It got a good design and doesn't fall apart and break easily. Kept my dogs entertained and the sniffling and snuffling was amusing to watch BUT I either have really smart dogs or its a bit TOO simplistic.Once.they got one of them open they basically ran around it and emptied it in moments. Maybe I expect too much but if there was some way to vary the way lids opened or something it might have been good for more than 1 usage.

Really well made and sturdy. My gentle giant of a dog was a bit unsure about pressing the central chamber at first, but she eventually got the hang of opening the lids. I had to press the chamber a few times for her as she’s not exactly the brightest pup! It came with a spare lid, which is a nice touch, and also included two squeaky balls that are great quality on their own. Very impressed overall. I think it would be especially enriching and fun for a clever dog.
