Sony's output of the headset port on the Sony - 65" Class X950H Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV Model:XBR65X950H DOES NOT allow for the headsets to be used with the speakers at the same time. If you plug in this adapter - ONLY the headset will work - if you want the speakers to work you need to unplug this.However, if you want to go back and forth - you MUST USE the OPTICAL AUDIO Port with a DAC converter. I purchased one of those and it worked great. See my other review.

Works well for direct connection from my PS3 to my soundbar. HDMI to the TV and Optical cable to soundbar caused a strange sound delay problem to include missing out on the first sounds after a period of silence or the beginning of a music track in between songs. I dont know where the problem lies, but this fixed it. I dont have any problems with my HDMI connected cable box, so I think there is some issue with the PS3 HDMI output. The same thing happened with my generation 1 PS3 as my new PS3 Slim.The rca cables don't feel like they connect securely, so if there is any tension pulling on the cable they will probably fall out. The 3.5mm plug fits very securly though.It does the job, just not a secure feeling connection.
